To ensure their durability, the bodies of these cufflinks have been cast from 925 sterling silver. While we considered making these cufflinks out of solid gold or platinum, we recognized that this would be cost prohibitive for many of our loyal customers. Therefore, we decided to utilize sterling silver for the bodies and then thickly plate each stud in a precious metal.

With a plating of 5 to 6 microns in thickness, these cufflinks look and wear exactly like examples crafted from solid gold or platinum, but at a fraction of the cost. The ethereal glint of shimmering platinum or the vibrant shine of gold marks these cufflinks as unique pieces of art that you will proudly pass on to your children.
