Crisp Clarity with a Hint of Color
This pocket square is the epitome of classic elegance. It is crafted from the finest cotton flannel for a touch of luxury in both relaxed and formal settings. Its pristine white body is the perfect canvas for adding a clean, sharp edge to your outfit, while the hand-rolled periwinkle blue X-stitch edges provide a subtle splash of color.
The soft white of the pocket square is universally flattering and pairs effortlessly with any color suit or jacket. It’s particularly striking against darker fabrics, such as a midnight blue blazer or a black tuxedo, where it can shine as a beacon of sophistication.
The delicate periwinkle blue stitching around the edges offers a gentle contrast that is both unexpected and pleasing to the eye. This detail allows for playful coordination with other elements of your attire, such as a tie or cufflinks featuring shades of blue, lavender, or even soft greens.
Incorporate this pocket square into your ensemble to showcase an appreciation for the finer details. The handrolled edges speak to a bespoke sensibility, ensuring that your style is noted for its precision and care.
Whether you’re attending a business meeting or a social event, this cotton flannel pocket square with its charming periwinkle blue accents will elevate your look with an air of polished grace and understated confidence.

Care
Cleaning
To protect its hand-rolled edges, we recommend that you not fully immerse your pocket square in water to clean it. Instead, create a solution of tepid water and mild detergent and carefully spot clean any stains.
Should your pocket square require more thorough cleaning, you can take it to a dry cleaner that specializes in handling delicate accessories. Remind them to be careful when cleaning around the handrolled edges.
Storage
Your Fort Belvedere cotton pocket square is made with a heavier weight of cotton weave that naturally resists wrinkling. To reduce unnecessary wrinkling, always remove your pocket square after wearing it.
To remove wrinkles, use a garment steamer set to hot or iron, with a piece of cotton cloth between the fabric and the iron.
Lightly sprinkling the underside of the pocket square with water will help relax wrinkles more quickly.
Be sure to only iron the center of the pocket square and do not run your iron over the edges, as it could ruin the effect of the hand-rolled edges by flattening them.
The Supreme Softness of Fine Cotton
Cotton is the most common fabric in modern clothing, but not all cotton is created equally. The best cotton is measured by staple length, because longer staple lengths produce cotton products that are stronger, softer, and more durable. As a result, long-staple cottons are less prone to fraying and pilling, are more wrinkle resistant, and hold dyes better than short-staple cotton.
Fort Belvedere is proud to source only the finest cottons with a staple length of at least 1.25″ or 3.2 cm. All of our cotton also undergoes a proprietary finishing process which renders the final product especially soft and pliable for the most delicate hand imaginable.

How to Style a Pocket Square
To highlight the x-detailing on this pocket square, it should be worn with a fold that emphasizes the edges of the accessory, such as a banker’s fold or a crown fold. To showcase the color of the body of the pocket square instead, a puff fold should be employed.
By utilizing folding in this way, this pocket square effectively functions like two for the price of one. Consider matching the tone of your tie, bow tie, or socks with one of the contrast colors, or wear it with a white shirt.
